" Film, being designated as the 7th Art, translates into the technique and ability to record and reproduce images with sense of movement, the works created called Movies, are produced by recording images of the world around us, with cameras, or using animation techniques and visual effects. Mail Art has no official number that designates it, but are many who adopted it in the past and present, as a manifestation of artistic expression, like in cinema, images, concepts, or other expressions, whether visual, tactile, sound or that explore other senses are developed and shared for a specific audience.

I'm currently writing an article about the mail art for a small french magazine.

I was wondering whether you could post a message asking people to send me some mail art exemples as an illustration for my paper.

(I'd be glad to get some information about the concept of mail art although I already have grasp the general idea.)

The journal's subject for march is war, that might give ideas for volunteers.

I hope my mail will be understandable for I haven't spoken English for years...

Well, in case somebody is interested :

Thank you for your time.

Please help me collect enough work to have The Face of Jesus Exhibition travel to well known Museums across the United States. I must collect more work in order for this Show to be accepted. If you have already sent me a piece of mailart for this show, I thank you. Please consider doing a new piece of mailart or create a crucifix from recycled material. The only thing I ask is that you remain respectful in your creations. This Exhibition is seen by all ages. Thank you!
