Wonderful to see these! Ruud, it's especially fun to see you post something from Carlo Pittore. I knew him when he lived in Maine in the '90s. We went to Union of Maine Visual Artists meetings, and when we did shows we sometimes sat together and he showed me mail-art stuff and talked about it the whole day. Wouldn't you think, hanging around an enthusiastic character like that, that I'd have jumped into MA with both feet! Duh.

Also Jan Cremer (now again back in Netherlands) sent me a print of his rubber used while he was in the USA. Interesting because most people only know him from his Art, Books and Film. He did a bit of stamping too....

Cavellini speaks little English, but he figured out I wanted him to stamp his orginal sticker on this paper.

In 1983, when the TAM Rubberstamp started (actually the longest running mail-art project when you see it like that) I also received contributions like these from Robert Rehfeldt in East-Germany. A wall crossed by mail-art......
