When I still lived in Tilburg in the 90-ies, I got this big letter in the mail.

Only a few days and the most amazing stuff is being posted already! Thanks for doing this Skybridge. I guess I'll be digging into my hopelessly disorganized collection too. I think the work here is a treat indeed.

Many objects that mail artists mailed me for the snake millennium projects. Here are 2 shots from piece by Jacques Lefrancq (Belgium); a large branch of tree in the shape of a snake, wrapped in brown paper and cordsm with stamps and my address and even messages like «merci facteurs» (thank you mail men). I had to fetch the object at the post office and I remember it was an object of awe and a lady at the counter asked me «what do I have to do to receive such objects 2?»

Shot of snake inside flat and outside in the garden amongst trimmed rose bush

This piece of Mail-Art I really enjoyed. Rain Rien sent this from the USA to me as a result of a discusion we had online somewhere. Original Peanuts in an envelope that arriced in this condition. Rain Rien has sent several of these surprises to Breda and Tilburg. Always with very special thoughts behind it.
