Hannah Höch (fan club)

Information

Hannah Höch (fan club)

Some mail artists add a stamp print to their mail art, saying 'Hannah Hoch Fan Club'.

Until I received these stamp prints I never had heard of this artist, who was born 1st of November 1889. She has been a collage / photomontage pioneer. She was part of the Dada movement and also became involved in the De Stijl art movement.

For anyone who has a Hannah Höch Fan Club Stamp (and interested others, I haven't one), this group can be the place to share your thoughts and mail art, tributing to and/or inspired by Hannah Höch.

Status on my Hannah H. Birthday Box stuff: spent the weekend creating the art pieces, and I’m almost finished with addressing the envelopes. I’ll be heading to the post office tomorrow. Once everything’s in the mail I’ll concentrate on the B-Day box! Super fun project!

I see that Noriko - not Nioriko - accompanied Ryosuke on his jaunt to Greece.  I wonder if it can be spelled both ways?

Hi Heleen.  I hadn't recognised Ryosuke's address - shame on me - but Visual Mom gave the name I have on the list Nioriko.  I will double check.

Noriko (I thouhgt her name is, not Nioriko), hasn't she the same address as Ryosuke Cohen?

Here is a little thought about simple sums.  We have eighteen announced contributors to our little Birthday Box project but, according to the club header, there are twenty two members of this group. Come on sleeping partners.  Come and join the fun . . .
