FOOTPRINT: MY MAIL ART ID

This group encourage all Mail Artists to change their footprint when send a mail art piece to someone.

In the contemporary era in which we now live, the primary identifier of each individual is his fingerprint, signature, the IP of your computer and other more modern methods. But why not use our footprint? This may seem ridiculous, but this"members" are the first ones to contact the earth skin, working like antennas, they receive and distribute telluric energies emanating from it, while acting as sinks of excess energy accumulated in our body, which is why it is very important to walk barefoot whenever possible, preferably in direct contact with the ground without any protection commonly used, and our spine and also thanks. We can see the footprints has a return to our archaic origens.

The reason why i decide to start this new group, was related to one of De Villo blog adds ( FootPrint series) about a piece that i sent him. Its a work of series where i use my own footprint on the mail art piece (you can see the ongoing series here). So this group encourage all Mail Artists to change their FOOTPRINT when send a mail art piece to someone. This ideia could be explore in many projects, and be an original way to all Mail Artists identify some of their Mail Art, like a personal signature.Sent to Mail Artist Sarah Churchill (Wales - UK)
