The original inspiration using these gloves I had when dealing with the work of Marcel Duchamp. He had introduced a work consisting of a simple snow shovel and had named it "In Advance Of The Broken Arm". This was almost 100 years ago! I took a pair of work gloves and named them "In Advance Of Cold Hands". Not as spectacular as Monsieur's idea but... This was almost 20 years ago.

Thank you for the follow up comment about "work" gloves. Of all the things in the world, I needed these gloves right now. I have mental/emotional "work" to do so these are perfect. First mail I ever received fromm Grigori. Makes me feel good to see your name on the gloves, Erni.

Oh, man! I think I have to apologize to Grigori because reading Diane Key's comment on Dustin de Wind's blog I thought he had passed on the two pairs I had sent him recently. Would it have mattered much? NO! what you give away is gone for good. What I sent to Grigori looked like this and was accompanied by a little note:

"ENLIGHTENMENT GLOVES" (2013)

You know, in Germany we call them "work-gloves" 'cause you wear them to protect your hands from whatever while doing jobs of manual labour. I like very much what you received from our friend. GREAT!!
