Dear mail-art Friends,
Today I was contacted by Kostiantyn Aleninskyi, the organizer of the “Futurism: 140th Anniversary of the artist David Burliuk” mail art project, who asked you to inform me that in any case he plans to implement the project even under artillery shelling and air alarms.
Situation today:
"Lebedyn Art Museum is still undamaged, the city was bombed, russian troops left the city center. The city of Sumy is now partially under siege - the Russians come once a day and shell the city.
As of February 23, our mail art project had about 50 items (45 or 47). The project continues, we are waiting for the situation to develop. We plan to make a small exhibition of the received works”.
Slava Ukraini!
The BBC has reported some good news, a possible political truce and the end of the war, based on the diplomatic habilities of President Zelensky which are I am told, excellent.
Also I found out that a prominent priest of the orthodox church has preached that all killing for any reason is a mortal sin for those who commit it, for those who order it and for those who stand by and do nothing to stop it. My thoughts are that if the Church turns against the Kremlin that is the end. It happened in Argentina with our own Peron.
Let's hope!
coco,i love it!
