Are these things hard to find in Hamburg, or do you see them often?

Yessssss--that is crazy beautiful, Erni!

That mailbox, Erni--wow, I'm in love--could you steal it and send to me? I'll pay for shipping.

Foostering was already great, and now we find out it also means rummaging? That easily turns me (and most people on here?) into a daily foosterer, many times over. It's perfect, don't be surprised to see it on envelopes in the future ...

And CHUFFED means really really pleased...
Comment by Lesley Magwood Fraser on October 6, 2011 at 7:54am
Diane yesterday on another blog Marie mentioned "faffing" which means fannying around (she said that) so I said fooster is similar - an Irish word which my mum always said and did. I have become her and am always foostering around the place, not getting anything done! Or foostering as in rummaging in my handbag for goodness knows what never to be found! Now Nancy loves the word too! Foosterers unite!

You gave me a laugh, Erni (one of many). Yes, I know it's no toast, but sometimes a person could eat things other than food when they love them enough. It's a beautiful photo.

You could almost eat that stuff.

Lesley-you really need to give vocab lesson on South African phrases--fooster? Love it and I think I sorta get what chuffed means

My dear Magwood, why would you stick me in the middle-aged category when I'm only 24? Haha--man am I glad that year's over, and a whole bunch of other ones. Yes, there is more freedom with age. When the funky antiquing thing got me, I'd drive around at 4 a.m. and raid people's trash. BUT would stay in my truck for a minute or two to make sure no one would SEE the trash-raiding. Now who gives a flying fooster?!

You will see bits of rust in upcoming mail arts.

Cool, Erni--this one escaped me. That title = good motto. It doesn't die, either.
