Thom Courcelle's TRASHPO book (an inside page). Very impressive. We received this weeks ago but thought the group would like to see a photo.

The flying pig - isn't that in something by Lewis Carroll (Go Ask Alice):

"The time has come the walrus said, to talk of many things

Of shoes and ships and ceiling wax, of cabbages and kings

and why the ocean's boiling hot and whether pigs have wings."

Or something like that.

Awe-striking, all of them. And Alicia's ability to make elegant trashpo is utterly amazing. I LOVE those colorful coin cards.

This just in from All Things Trashpo founder, Diane Keys:

I am bowled over by how exquisite she can make garbage look. Her spare use of words and understated humor are pitch perfect and in the end, the snap that releases the reader: "This is all completely false". I'm going to have go take a nap now. I'm all worn out by looking at this thing. Probably be jet-legged for the rest of the week.

No one can make a fake D-Koder ring if they don't know what it looks like.

Actually, I put it on a plastic mannikin finger and threw it in the chili pot at Wendy's when no one was looking. Wish I could have been there when someone dished it up.
