I know what you mean about things getting language-heavy.

Because what you're doing is vispo. It has colors & images, and that is really part of the whole thing.

Transcribing the words is like a script. What if you performed those scripts as a spoken word thing? What would it sound like? I would like to see (hear) that, definitely.

DK - for a long time I've been wanting to transcribe the words on your Trashpo to see what it looked like as more conventional poetry. I think the first one came out really well.

See Erni, you're a poet too. That's very linear, which helps a lot for things that someone might want to transcribe.

DK will often put things down sideways or paste things over the top of something else. THEN you get into the idea that the poem is an object, the collage is one-time phenomenon that you can maybe photograph but trying to describe it or transcribe, it's really not the original work any more.

I LOVE what you did with that DVS-and Erni that trashpoem looks great. What I take away from it is Club Kid Loves Kulture

Here is my most recent trashpoem, but I guess this one is made entirely of words-a bit of a cop out maybe:)

Hey, thanks Erni & Alicia (good to see you at IUOMA again) and of course DK deserves all the credit.

Definitely Erni, very much a DaDa poem. I transcribed it as accurately as I could from a piece on DK's blog. At core, or on one level, she did a word collage using random fragments of the trash.

Has anyone ever wondered what DK's Trashpo would look like if it were transcribed on a page like "real" poetry? I transcribed one, and I think it came out really well. DK is definitely a poet:
