I love your posts too KDJ the RoadKill prom queen is perfect
Permalink Reply by Theresa Ann Aleshire Williams on September 2, 2011 at 6:28pm Thanks, Diane! I think there's something so liberating about Hallowe'en. It really takes me back to childhood and direct creativity without the filter of academic or adult life. I've been a teacher/writer so long that it's easy to get trapped in purely literary creation. That story was so much fun to write.
I'm one of those people who also think graveyards are both scary and beautiful, and I feel a kind of liberation in them.
KDJ's prom queen with the Kahloon really gave me a thrill. It set my mind to working, made me want to make something holding a Kahloon. :-) But more, it opened up something inside me that I didn't even know was there.
So thanks to all of you for participating!
