Here's my artspace today, about like it usually looks. Semi-controlled chaos.

Ruud is super-duper organized, and I'd like to know how he gets to his CDs in the back there.

Yes, the guillotine will do that, Angie, yet you seem like such a nice person. Cannot wait for it to arrive. If you've ever trimmed an art piece down to practically nothing trying to even out the matboard sides with scissors, you know what I mean.

The state of Theresa's desktop makes me feel a little better about my chaos. Some pictures are also making me think more drawers would be a good thing. There should be one less table and two or three bureaus lined up to take its place.

At Christmas, Santa gave me a gift of a SEWING machine! Well, not as big as Janine's, (see those are postcards next to it...) tiny, very miniature sewing machine:

Well, it was used briefly for making a few trashpo boekies...now set aside whie i paint, but one day, it will be used again.

Oh, to have a small cubby like Theresa's or a tall cubby like Janine's..full of nice wooden cubby-holes (those small divided sections of a top-of-the-desk shelf or cabinet) and wooden drawers and woven baskets! Well, there are a few woven-IKEA-boxes in the seaside "studio"...maybe Friday I'll get out there and take some pics!

Anyhow...my "guillotine" approprately called a "TrimCat" !! is 6 inches wide x 12 inches long, or 15 x 30 cm. It is handy, practical, thus it is Made in Germany: "sharpen your senses!" :-)
