I'm conditioned to work in the laundry. Puts me in the zzzzoooonnne. Other areas of the house? Yes, they're a mess but laundry always gets done.

I'll be doing my laundry in an hour or so (see, I'm putting it off as we speak). Maybe a creative burst will come over me, and fuel me until the next time I get around to it. ;-)

Comment by Rebecca Guyver on May 30, 2012 at 9:26pm: Scattergood-Moore and Stephanie, like you I have laundry piles on deck for when I step off the creative train. I resent them! And when I catch them out of the corner of my eye and am doing something else, they seem to shout at me. Strangely, I also find that when I give in and do the laundry I usually seem to solve some creative decision in the process so in a way they make creative space again.
