I'm running a mailart show with Westminster Libraries in London, for a display in Pimlico library from March 25, 2011, so the deadline for this call is March 11th. The works will be on the walls for 2 weeks or so.

What we want is postcard sized (up to A5 should be fine - feel free to interpret this as you wish) stories from mailartists, comics creators and anyone else who can tell a story. The works will go up on the walls of the library as a backdrop to talks by comics creators and artists, and I may even do a talk about mailart.

Ultimately, the idea is to produce a book of all the stories which will go on the shelves of Pimlico library, so your stories will be immortalised, but this isn't yet confirmed.

We'd love to get as many Little Big stories as possible, so if you intend to send us one, or want to swap some ideas, drop in and lets talk!

the 22 it is then, I am looking forward to it. What are you doing and how can I help? Of course I shall take the STG with its current Save Our Libraries show of book plates from the archive on. I will post a photo as soon as the sun decides to come out or may be in the mist if it doesn't. What a terrible weather we are having but as Eeyore said, at least 'we haven't had an eathquake yet'

Hey Martha - what a muddle it must be - I've not yet got the notification of this message but thanks for the congrats, which are duly noted. The pieces are great!

Me and Elena are going for the 22nd, so make your arrangements around that - Could you message me your email address too.

Thanks!

Both dates are OK with me for the workshop, Andy.

And ,er, oops! I have been to your non-real wall and left a comment, or possible two, or may be none. Sorry, I got rather muddled up. I only wanted to congratulate you; it looks that already you have superb pieces for the show.

The first of the Little Big Stories is now up on my REAL wall! http://myrealwall.blogspot.com/2011/02/first-of-little-big-stories-...

I'll be putting up all the received stories online so that the international crowd can see them before they grace the walls of Pimlico library

No problems about not putting the Westminster Libraries bit on - I've lent them the use of my PO Box for the show, so it will be fine

Hey Martha, we've been offered either 22nd or 29th April. Do either of those dates suit?
