I just wanted to let everyone know that the response to the 12-12-12 Project has been fantastic... really great work from everyone! It's still early in the project so I'm encouraging everyone to submit work for it.  So many works have arrived that I can say that a book will definitely be produced at the conclusion of the project.

 

Work on paper, canvas, etc ., photographs, even videos will be accepted. See all the great work submitted so far here: 12-12-12 End of the World Project

A beautiful mixed media work from Ariana Adan, a young artist from Missouri. Although she's not an IUOMA member, it's good to get some pieces from outside the circle.

Up to this point, the work that's been submitted has been amazing and if we get another 30-40 pieces submitted before the end of next year, I'll have enough work to put into book form.

As of June 1, the blog where all of the work submitted to the project has been viewed more than 1900 times!  I'd say that's pretty decent interest, so I'm encouraging anyone who is interested in submitting a piece to do so.
