Hi Bifidus! xxx

Holes and anti-holes...CDs that are mirrors...or rainbows:

Comment by Bifidus Jones on May 9, 2012 at 7:10pm

Holes seem to be an IUOMA motif in general.

Synchronicity indeed. I was thinking about form - and there was a hole.

Ah DharmaDaDa, seeming differences in your piece & mine. I say in all seriousness, however, they both offer a glimpse into the Void - albeit via different approaches.

"Organic Cotton," wow, fab title. And just as well on "Empty Mirror." This other you are using looks very good. Everything before "Howl," well, interesting but... I do like the William Carlos Williams preface.

And go easy on the "Reality Sandwiches," please.

Complete synchronicity DharmaDaDa! Great use of the CD to make a mirror. Love it!

Well, "Empty Mirror" is a book of Allen Ginsberg's early poems that was released after the success of "Howl." I also see "Empty Mirror" is what looks like a very interesting movie I have not seen. I always have liked the empty mirror idea, and I'm glad you took the concept and ran with it. I think I catch a glimpse of Jim Morrison there too.

Good work, Erni!

Katerina is correct, Erni. Kinder eggs should be eaten all at once, regardless of how many he receive. Here is the rest of my mail art from the Haptic Werewolf:

Schwitters is somewhere smiling at all this. A thousand thanks, Herr Werewolf!

Today's Haptic poetry piece: a paper elephant balloon

And because it's national poetry month here in the U.S. of Amerika, let me leave you with this poem:

My Elephant Thinks I'm Wonderful
by Kenn Nesbitt

My elephant thinks I'm wonderful.
My elephant thinks I'm cool.
My elephant hangs around with me
and follows me into school.

My elephant likes the way I look.
He thinks that I'm fun and smart.
He thinks that I'm kind and generous
and have a terrific heart.

My elephant thinks I'm brave and bold.
He's proud of my strength and guts.
But mostly he likes the way I smell.
My elephant thinks I'm nuts.
