That's very cool Angie and makes sense. I love your son's drawing. I think some of the best art I see is done by kids-

As with Project 26 I will post binding instructions (with pics) at the end. Thanks Ruud :-). DVS - not too many monkeys in Cape Town (that I've seen - well - none in the kitchen in any event!) Diane - TWO sheets of paper with work on both sides, folded in half, Bruno - deadline end July (2 months), kiwi's - not in season :-) - John - fine - YAY!!!!

Another good point Diane - usually people do an original and make copies to send others. So you'd do an original and make 15 copies to mail. However, some book arts people pride themselves in making everything authentic and unique. So they actually do 15 separate chapters (variations on a theme) so everyone gets an original and not a copy. It's all a matter of how you want to approach it.

I'm sure Cheryl will soon make another stunning appearance - sadder but wiser in the knowledge that the metric system is not universal and some unenlightened parts of the world measure things in inches.

And you always gotta worry about the monkeys getting involved.

so 8 pages of our art photocopied 15 times ? Okay, if that is wrong please let me know.  Cheryl, really want to hear about these monkeyzzzz....

OK, instructions clear now.  I'll use US letter-sized paper - it's not exactly A4, but it's never been a problem.  It IS a real pain to cut paper here to A4, you have to use quite large sheets.  and it's difficult to print anything on the A4 size here

OK - Cultural paper differences - MAN!! What next!! :-)??? We do cm - you do inches - OF COURSE!!!
Comment by Mim Golub Scalin on June 1, 2011 at 6:05pm
This is SO clear now. The only thing is that I'll have to create that size paper, since the U.S. is on a different standard paper size. But I can do that. No problem. Thanks so much Cheryl for clarifying.

Lord help me if I got this wrong:

30 centimeters = 11.8 inches

21 centimeters - 8.3 inches

so 2 sheets. each sheet is 11.8 inches by 8.3 inches

Cheryl, does this seem correct?

Our standard paper in the US is 8.5 by 11
