Thought it was a good idea to post some of the FAB work I have received in its own place in this group - it all gets LOST so quickly. Perhaps people who receive asemics can start their own discussions?

We all remember this one - a FAB from Marie Wintzer in Japan.

And yesterday from Sue Bowen

"Spring forth ye gentle knot,

to clothe my family and to heal my wounds"

Beautiful - thank you Sue.

Great idea Cheryl, received this great one from Sue!
Thanks, Cheryl.  I will add some once I am awake!

It's true, Cheryl, a lot does get lost in all of the nooks and crannies, of IUOMA.  The Asemic group is a fabulous group, so I will start posting my received asemics over here.  I love the threads in Marie's piece.  Lucky you, Cheryl, you can touch it anytime you wish.  Lately, I have been wanting to make mail-art that I can be touched and read with my eyes shut.  Not sure what that is all about, because I love color.

Have any of the men in the group incorporated any fiber into their asemics?  I may have missed it, as I am focusing on the 365 right now and do not always make it over to this group.

I'll add my new received after I get back from the PO.  DVS sent me one this week, too.  He is really branching out with the color and the hidden asemics.  Will post it later.

This is a "Sue Bowen Discussion" ;-) Received this one from Sue...questionable asemic?????

Me thinks the PO has struck and torn off another part, Katerina! This is a "who done it" question.

Who is the culprit? And why?
i received from Cheryl a folded, long piece (too long for my scanner), so I made a photo of it.  It has two folds, closing it down to a lovely embellished rectangle.  When it is open, there is a bird in the center and words sharing shadows!  It is on a beautiful paper that also has shadow images.  It's a wonderful piece and I wanted to share it here with the Asemic group.
Thanks for posting Sue - When words are residual shadows :-) - something I think Asemics to be - a shadow writing system.

Received from Katerina - a beautiful asemic boekie which came with her Byzantine gift :-)
