thanks Val for the message...i have not received any notification of comments from this group in my mail box and judging from the ammount of comments i missed reading it must be since two weeks ...it has happened in the past. like then i just wait for it to fix itself. in the meantime i put myself up to date.

My question: where do we sign for the carrousel?

Angie : good idea i'll try that. and i don't know how many times it goes around - i'm no good at math are you?

Val : you really did empower me - thank you

Arac : yes for this round if you ar A you always send to B. if it works well we may change things in Carousel 2 :)

Alexandre : YAY! so glad you'll join in

Val again : i think we should go once around and assess how well the carousel worked. if i create the list i suppose i should empower myself some more and simply add the new comers to the end of the list> Nah! that won't work! i think Once the Carousel starts you can't climb on until it stops>

and Val i have said so before "you are naughty" !!!! you really make be laugh! but an arty slide massage would NOT be comfortable, too many corners :)

arac : i agree - once round stop to catch up & add new comers then off we go again once the music start up again !~

Well, this is like an add and pass journal. There will be only one mailing happening at a time. Arac is A and starts 2 slides. She sends them to B who either adds to them, creates two new ones to send or just sends the two as is - sends them to C, etc. I think this will be fun to just keep sending. Even if we only have the 6 or so original people who said they wanted to participate, we'll just keep sending the slides around. I'm sure other things will get added onto the carousel ...

Arac: that's a very good point you make, thanks.

It would be easier if i) we looged who sent, and who received, and when; and ii) had 'designated carousel mailing days', but I fear this would make things far too bureaucratic.

Someone (you, he jests)would spend hours on the admin and no time on the Arty Slides.

Any ideas on this?

This could be very confusing with no end because it may take 3 days for Angie to get my slides but 3 weeks to get them to Lillian.  Let's go around one time where we each send/pass as many times as there are members and then stop until all the slides catch up and we can replace any lost in transfer.

Arac. A sends to B, B sends to C etc. Assume there are lots of people in, and we reach the stage when Y sends to Z. Then Z sends to A, A sends to B, and so it goes on...or not..

.because A&S...it can go round as many times as we want it to. There will be a problem if someone breaks the chain and/or the Arty Slides get lost...also

...Sue, or whoever is empowered as the Carousel's New Members' Operating Officer, has to find a way to include new comers on the carousel.

Arac again: what's this about an Arty Slide Massage. I seem to be missing out on something here. You could be appointed, i suppose as Arty Slide Masseuese, but this is a clean-livin', family show, so you won't be. Sorry. Val

Want to make sure I understand, just so I'm clear~ if I am A do I always send to B or do I send to each person on list B,C,D etc until it gets back to me?  Either way count me in and massage me into the master list :)))))))))))))
