Well, I'm really glad my lenghty voyage into Double Arty Slides has turned out this way. Now if I start  one on shooter games, who knows? we might be getting closer to, well, Arty Slides?

Damn! Sorry for cursing but I really did throw a lot of slides away some years ago. I am getting inspired by your miniatures val! And these good old paper slides instead of the bulky newer plastic ones i used to get  from Kodak. Remember people used to retouche in that small format and i admired them, now I'll might be creating these from scratch!

 I can send you a few old paper slides if you like when I go to the Post office next week. A few plastic ones too, if you want. Otherwise the thing to do might be to make up your own slide frames, but then you MUST follow the original format for size and shape. I 'create' many of my own Double Arty Slides in this way.

I worked out that if I send 2 slides to everyone in the group it'll cost about $65. That's 2 weeks of food! Or 6 bottles of wine! Got any Aussie stamps there??

I don't think they weigh all that much.  I was working on some this afternoon and 1 double slide didn't feel that heavy.  Of course I was working with paper slides.  I also have some metal ones (my fav) and I think I would probably only send these within the US, due to weight.  Actually, I am finding I am partial to the single slides and that would be heavier to send 2 of them, in leau of a double.  Yeah, mail art is expensive.

Hey Miz Viz, just send me the $65 direct (and forget all this Arty Slide nonsense). At $&à/bottle the wine you drink is reather exepensive, me thinks. And you buy it in bottles? 10 litre ones?

Some weeks I spend more on stamps than on food, and am going to have to cut back on some mailing things out soon. Perhaps I'll join Miss Viss on her roun- the-world-collecting-material-for-arty-stamps-tourand that will make things a abit cheaper for me.

Hey Niklas, if I email you details of some things I want to mail out, please could you mprint them up, stick them together, address them, etc and THEN get your employer to mail them out for me?
