Mail art tend to work on a exchange basis: mail art for mail art

I agree with Wilko. As long as the mail art you receive has a return address on it, you should reply on a postcard of your choice or a postcard of your own making. If you collect mail art, then you have in your collection the inspiration to make small collages or make an alteration on a traditional postcard which you can then release into the world in reply. We are all artists. But I see now, from your IUOMA page, that you have aspirations to be a mail artist. If that is true, then you should identify yourself as an artist and not just a "collector of mail art".
