<p>Interesting — I'd never seen a Line-o-Scribe, was this the sort of thing used for showcards in department stores? It looks like a proof press but they don't usually have the typecases built in like that.</p>

A furniture slider is a very slippery plastic disk that goes under the legs of a piece of furniture so it is easy to move around. I use them slippy side down to hand rub prints.</p>

<p>i have the use[friend has shop]of old30s-40s standard proofing press made in kalamazoo michigan.</p>
<p>it is small, bed is maybe 1ft wide by 4ft long. there is both metal&wood type with 2-3 drawers</p>
<p>of small dingbats. i have also printed with wood and lino-block. i am definitely not a "printer"</p>
<p>but enjoy the ink on paper process, happy printing! cb.</p>
