DESCRIPTION:The new project is organised by the West University of Tim
 isoara - the Faculty of Arts and Design – Department of Design, with
  the aim to ease the artistic dialogue and to offer a modern perspecti
 ve on how fine arts are evolving in the age of globalization. (global 
 crisis)\nThe theme of the International Miniature Graphic Art Exhibiti
 on – Timisoara Romania - 2011 is “island of unwanted things”.\nT
 he artists are invited to participate with a single work of art on pap
 er or carton with the maximum dimensions of 15 x 21 cm (A5), unframed 
 and without passe-partout.\nAccepted techniques: drawings, engravings,
  collages, computer. Three-dimensional creations are not accepted.\nNo
  entry fee. The submitted work will become part of the documentary arc
 hives of the Faculty of Arts and Design Timisoara.\nThe catalogue of t
 he exhibition will be available online, as well as further information
  on all the stages of the organisation, from the receipt of the works 
 of art to the opening day and the press coverage.\nA specialised jury 
 will select and nominate the submitted works.\n15 nominated works of a
 rt will join the permanent exhibition in the Gallery 1 design of the F
 aculty of Arts and Design Timisoara.\nThe deadline for the submission 
 is 30 november 2010. The works should be sent to the following address
