International Postal Art Project and Exhibition

Call for entries has now closed. Thanks to all who signed up. I have 240 participants so the results should be fantastic. First post goes out at the beginning of November.

The project format will be a postcard which has another two postcard attached (using a concertina fold and perforation). You will receive this in the post from me. There is no theme, the idea is simple and any media or subject can be used; you create artwork on one section then post it to the next person in one of the envelopes provided. This happens 3 times and then it gets send back to me where I’ll get them ready to be exhibited (@ our new gallery, University of the West of England, Bristol).

Hopefully there will be interesting, exciting and amusing results. It may be a good opportunity to get to know people in America, Holland, Germany, the UK and hopefully more countries besides.

The only charge is the postage to the person you forward your artwork on to.

I’m inviting as many artists as possible to take part and would like you to be one of them.
